On October 23rd 2025, the Horizon Europe RESPONSIVE project will host an international webinar bringing together researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers from across Europe to discuss obstacles and drivers of responsiveness in social services, and to explore tools and strategies for making social services more adaptable to people’s needs.
How can social services become more responsive to the evolving needs of people and communities? What obstacles stand in the way, and what strategies and tools can help overcome them?
This 90-minute will explore key insights and practical tools for strengthening responsiveness in practice. Participants will be introduced to the project’s methodology, hear about the main obstacles and drivers identified by professionals and policy-makers, and engage in a discussion on how responsiveness can be measured and improved.
The session will also present a self-assessment tool designed to support social services in reflecting on and enhancing their responsiveness, followed by examples from different countries illustrating how the tool can be adapted to diverse contexts.
A dedicated Q&A will provide space for interaction and exchange with participants.
