Summary
The social rally was organized on the very day of the first reading of the new legal act. It was to show public support for these solutions and the expectation of efficient parliamentary work. Despite the relatively low turnout, it achieved its goals.
Aim:
Rally in support of the minors protection act (which took place in Warsaw 15.06.23).

Problems: high rate of abused children
Needs:
-Introducing child protection standards in schools and other intitutions
-Introducing Serious Case Review in cases of death of a child
-Better representation of the child in criminal and family proceedings
-Trainings for family judges
Outcome
The rally was organized next to the Polish Parliament exactly during the first reading of the act, in order to influence members of Parliament to proceed with the act.
Sustainability
The rally achieved its short-term result. Long-term plan involved monitoring of the implementation of the new law.
