On November 5, 2024, the Université Paris Nanterre hosted a thought-provoking conference focused on “Responsiveness” in social work. Entitled Research Day: Social Work Supporting Democracy – International Perspectives the event explored how social work can play a pivotal role in supporting democratic values through citizen engagement, cultural mobilization, and institutional responsiveness.
